“According to NaturallyCurly.com, the Australian scientists that discovered the curly gene (aka trichohyalin) are now working on creating a pill that would “cure” genetically textured locks. This pill would render relaxers, texturizers, and flatirons obsolete–but it could also signal the end of luscious, Tracee Ellis Ross-type curls, forever. The thing is, if scientists can isolate the gene that causes curly hair, what’s to stop them from one day reversing or removing the gene altogether? It’s a chilling thought.”

Would You Take It? Personally, I would decline with the quickness. But I know a few people who would opt for the pill if it were available

Utter Madness. The side effects alone would probably be endless.
i thats is by far ridiculous…taking a pill???? lmao
I would in a heartbeat….. But only if it were completely reversible & safe, either by wearing off or by taking another pill. Both it’s being completely safe & reversible is v. unlikely though. I LOVE having curly hair, but would have straight hair more just for the variety if it didn’t involve heat which I no longer use on my hair.
