The number one tip for transitioning your hair to natural is patience. Seriously, my hair is attempting to frustrate me right now. I decided to do another rollerset today and it took me about 1 hour and 30 minutes to set my hair. I’m really trying hard to figure out how I went from 40 minutes to this. It’s freaking mind-boggling! My relaxed hair was rebelling and constantly getting tangled. The only thing I could do was to be extra patient while detangling and attempting to set my hair. At times I just wanted to rip it off or just shave my whole head. It was that serious! I’ll have to either give up rollersetting or modify my technique. Something has to give… And I really don’t want to give it up, but the last thing I need right now is a setback while I’m trying to transition. I have to leave for the weekend, so I’ll probably post pictures of the result when I get back on Sunday. On another note, I absolutely love my soft bonnet dryer. I’m under it right now and don’t know what I would do without it.
