ladies Im also natural and have tight coil hair. Young lady at my job recommend the Mizani Tru Texture product so ill try a couple of the product to see how my hair will react to it. Just remember we have to find what works best for our beautiful black hair.

At the end of March my beautician gave me a wave noveau, which I always get and can last for up to 3 months. I have to get it done only because of the new growth. I recently went to have my hair washed and trimmed. My hair was washed and conditioned with the Mizani True Textures products and afterward she put in the curl cream and something else from the line and it completely reversed the wave noveau, leaving my hair hard as a rock, frizzy, very brittle, and extremely dry. She tried this without my permission as my back was turned. I was not a happy camper. I went home and tried to wash the stuff out, but to no avail. My hair has not been the same since. I won't be returning anyway as I was charged entirely too much for nothing, and if this is the case, I can buy that junk myself and that ain't happening.

Thank you! Bronze B for sharing the information . I bought the Mizani texture product on December 28,2010. I had the stylist cut my hair very short. The products which were posted should keep my hair from drying out. The relaxer should be completely grown out of my hair by the end of January.

Hello to all, I have been transitioning now for 8 months and well I have been using the Mizani Perfect Curl on my wavy hair and I really like the definition it gives. Just today I purchased the Cleansing Cream and the Curl Replenish- masque and I have been getting a lot of compliments on my hair. My hair is short on one side and long on the other so I haven't offically chopped of the ends due to I like the length. I must say that two strand flat twisting has held up using the Perfect Curl and also using my own moisturers in between (Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, EVOO, ect cetea) between uses. I purchased Carol's Daughter Black Vanilla Leave- In Conditioner as well but find that I dont really use it but instead I used the Mizani Coconut Shouffle Light Moisturizer and it does my hair just great. My hair is very soft, light and smells great at least that's what my old man says. Word of advise if your going natural at first you may have to try different products due to we al have different types of textures going on in different spot and I know personally myself I have color and love it blond and platinum so I will not be going back to no relaxer. Let's keep it going ladies so that this fad will reach to the heart of our black women and save a lot of money and stress.

I have used Mizani True Texture for Curly Hair on my daughter because it came recommended by the hair stylist at Ulta. She has soft, tight, curly hair. I had been using Carol's Daughter Hair Milk and I liked it at first but felt likt it was drying her hair out. I have been using this stuff for 1+ months and I love it. It has a very subtle sweet smell and leaves hair silky and moisturized and no build up.

Mizani like many "natural hair" companies out there is just jumping on the band wagon. They've realised that the members of the fast growing natural hair movement are searching for products that work and they are throwing their cards on the table. This line is about HAIR STYLE and not HAIR CARE look at the ingredients and then decide if it's worth it to have a nice twist out for a while... because the results won't last.
