OK!!! So a hairstylist friend of mine, gave me a bottle of this JUNK to try. She wants to offer more services/products for naturalistas and she wanted my opinion of the new Mizani line. I figured I would share this experience with the rest of the curly world. Here it goes……DON’T waste your money. I applied this to wet hair around 5:30am. It is now 8:05am and my hair looks as though I stuck my finger in a light socket! It has completely zapped the moisture from my hair. It did not clump the curls, instead it created a mass of tiny little girls (ie…mini fro)! There was also a small bit of flaking. Not sure why this occured as I used a clarifying shampoo prior to applying the product. Trust me curlies…..don’t waste your money on this!!! I should have known, after looking at the ingredients, that this was going to be a bad hair day! Can’t wait to go home this evening and wash this out of my hair! UGHHHHHHH!!!

I purchased the shampoo, the cleansing cream and the moisture stretch. I do like the shampoo and cleasing cream, but I am not sure about the moisture strech. I stopped relaxing about 6 months ago and had been wearing tree braids, but decided to just go with my natural hair. I’ve been researching natural hair for months and am surprised at the wealth and depth of information on the web. I do the daily wash and go and had planned on doing the same with the moisture strech; I found it doesn’t work for me. Based on Mizani’s hair scale, I am VI/VII-their product took a really long time to dry and did not give me coils or curls. I’ll stick with the cleansing products, but not the moisture stretch.

You can purchase all Mizani products at Smartstyle thats the salon found in every Super Walmart!!!!!!
Before you buy the bottle that cost anywhere from $15-20 you might wanna ask them for a sample ……since the products are new they all got samples which contains a sachet of all the true textures collection..Best of luck ladies!!!!!

I purchased my mizani true textures from Ulta. Not sure if you’ve heard of it but they are all over the Chicago area.
