Me, Jimi, and a Pink Flower!

Twistout Hairstyle

I rocked my twistout hairstyle the entire weekend. Surprisingly, it stayed fresh with just a couple of fluffs and a touch of coconut oil for shine. And I finally got to break out my new Jimi Hendrix tee that I’ve been stashing since my b-day. It was oh so cute and I got tons of compliments with it on. Some random dude started singing “Foxy Lady” to me later that night and had me laughing so hard.

Pink Flower Hairclip

Me and SO met up with his friends, and then he took me to dinner. We had a blast trying to play pool. I was embarrassing myself because I had no clue what I was doing, ha ha!

And I had to include this pic because I love how my hair took up the whole shot … and him too, lol. He’s been very supportive about my decision to go natural and listens to me rant about hair non-stop. I love you baby!

You can scoop the same pink silk flower hairclip from Forever21 for $3.80. Budget Friendly and chic!

Looking good Dani! My twistouts only last a day LOL. What is your skin regimen?

Thank you! I really don’t have a skin regimen. The only thing I put on my face is Queen Helene Cocoa Butter, lol. My mom always used it on me as a child and I just never stopped. I rarely wear makeup because I just don’t have time to apply it. I do want to start in the future because sometimes I want a different look and feel like plain jane. But I do rock lipgloss… ha! I tried incorporating a daily scrub and moisturizer into my routine a year ago but I was never consistent. The only thing I do right is drink plenty of water.
