A hair length chart is a great way to measure your hair growth and keep track of your goals. Below are the two that I find most useful. As you can tell by the second chart the average person averages ½ inch of new hair growth monthly.

Thank you for posting this. I was looking for the chart with the red hair for a couple of days.
I’m going to buy a white t-shirt and measure horizontal lines with a ruler, and take a picture every month with the shirt on to measure my hair growth. I saw a girl do it on Youtube, and I thought it was the coolest thing.
Hi, thanks for posting this great article as I type this I am just about to wash out my first ever application of MN that I’m using to try and boost my hair growth however any growth I do get will be quite slow to show when it’s dry bcs I have spirally curls. Please do you know where I can view the original of the second chart, I’d love to be able to read the smaller text.
I read that mn is more dangerous to your scalp than a relaxer and if it is used over a long period of time, it may cause some sort of brain damage. Don’t quote me on it but after I read it, I put it away and I’d only applied it once along the edges.
I tried MN like twice and stop. I didn’t experience any side effect, but just the idea of what it was made for and where I’m applying wasn’t making any sense;-) I just stick with the natural items like I put together a shea mixture, which seem to be working. Check my youtube video out.
