Treatment for Dandruff

Dandruff is a common form of skin eczema that occurs in parts of the body (usually your scalp) with high oil (sebum) production. Most dandruff problems can be resolved for less with products that you can find at home. Here is a simple homemade dandruff treatment recipe involving ginger that I found earlier.

What You Need: Ginger root, 1 teaspoon organic sesame oil, and 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions: Squeeze ginger root through a press to obtain one tablespoon of juice. Mix all ingredients. Apply to scalp and let dry before shampooing. Repeat as needed.

Hey There,

Did this end up working for you?? As a sister in New England, I’m very curious!

Hi LC, I haven’t tried it. This was posted in response to an email asking me for a home remedy for dandruff.
