Flat Twistout On Blown Out Hair

February 1, 2010

Curly Blown Out HairstyleI did a flat twistout on my hair the other night. I had every intention to flatiron my hair again but I didn’t have the time. So I twisted my hair back using Just For Me Hair Milk Styling Creme and left it in for about three hours before taking it down. The curls didn’t come out as defined as I would have liked, but I left them in for a short time and really didn’t expect too much of a curl.

My only issue with this hairstyle is that my relaxed ends looked much thinner than the natural portions. And as the night wore on, my hair started getting bigger and bigger. The compliments were rolling… but at one point my hair looked too big even for me, a BIG hair lover. I’m going to try the style out again in the future but untwist after the twists have been in overnight. Last, I always get an email or comment asking why I blank out a portion of my face sometimes. If I feel I look a little crazy but the hair looks good, I’ll blank a portion of my face out. Yall know I’m not shy, lol. Moving on… I’ll be attempting the Curly Nikki hairstyle later today so check back soon for the results :)

I love the look!
Did you blow out your hair with a blow dryer first? and how big did you make the twists??
