Elasta QP Creme Conditioning Shampoo Review

June 19, 2009

Elasta QP

Name: Elasta QP Creme Conditioning Shampoo

Price: $2.99

Rating: 5 out of 5

Product Promise: It detangles as it cleanses, returns the hair to it’s proper ph range, moisturizes, is non-stripping, and is extremely effective in hard water areas.

The Review: You can’t ask for a better shampoo than this! I have never seen a negative review on this hair product. It’s sulfate free and the only shampoo I have ever used that did not strip my hair at all. The scent is a little minty banana smell and the consistency is creamy and a little bit thicker than other products. It leaves my hair clean, moisturized, feeling silky, and never strips my hair. A true hair staple!

The Elasta QP company was acquired by the makers of Profectiv in late 2008 and I have seen a change in packaging, but the ingredients remain unchanged. The new packaging is updated from the simple white and black and looks much better. The old packaging was boring boring boring! Anyway, go buy this shampoo… It’s inexpensive and a quality hair product.

Ingredients: Water, Cocamphocarboxypropionate, Lauramide DEA, Polyquaternium-10, Glycol Distearate, Citric Acid, DMDM Hydantoin, Frangrance, FD&C Yellow No. 5, FD&C Yellow No. 6, FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Blue No. 1.

Ohhhh and I finally tried a braidout… I LOVE IT! I should have tried it months ago when you first recommended it. I would probably still be transitioning. I didn’t think it would come out nice at all because I felt like it would just look better on hair that was much longer. Boy was I wrong. Now that I’m stretching out my relaxer it’s my daily hairstyle.

Hey Stacey! Let me know how you like it. I think it’s the best poo in the world, lol. Try some cute updos too when your braidouts are a few days old. Girl, I could push a braidout for a few days with the right hair accessories.

What conditioner do you pair up with the shampoo. I am currently transitioning without the big chop.
