Caruso Steam Rollers and Hairsetter

February 25, 2009

I’ve wanted the Caruso Steam Rollers and Hairsetter for a while. It’s been on my wish list for at least the last six months but I still haven’t gotten around to purchasing it. My best friend who is relaxed uses it a few times a week with great results.

I have a feeling it will work well on natural hair with just a few modifications. And I may be able to pull off Curly Nikki’s trademark hairstyle with them too… I love her curls!

The best Caruso tips I’ve found online were to make sure you use end papers to reduce frizz on your ends, and only leave the steam rollers on the unit for up to 10 seconds… anything more seems to lead to a wrecked hairstyle. Between these and the Sassy Hair Curlers… I don’t know what to purchase first. Below is a cool video showing you how to use the Caruso Steam Rollers and a few links to vendors.

Worried about trying these, because most people who do these tutorials have hair significantly longer than mine! My hair is maybe 3 inches above my shoulders, when I pull it taunt. Do you think if I curl it, it will look awkward?
