Aussie Hair Insurance

Name: Aussie Hair Insurance Leave-In Conditioner

Price: $3.99

Rating: 2 out of 5

Product Promise: A true work-a-holic, this leave-in conditioner, accented with Australian Silk Protein, puts in overtime to keep hair strong (Bottle). Detangling. Improving smoothness. Preventing flyaways. This leave-in is always working to ward off hair-related accidents (Official Website).

The Review: Aussie Hair Insurance gets a big fail from me. It has a fruity smell and goes on like straight water. Seriously, it felt like I was just spraying water on my hair… Now that I think about it, my hair reacts better when I just spray water on it instead of this hair product.

I used it as a leave-in after washing my hair and I’m just disappointed. No amazing detangling or smoothing action happened over here. And my hair doesn’t feel any stronger as the bottle implied it would. Looks like I’ll be taking them up on there “No Worries Guarantee”… I want my $4 back!

I personally love this leave-in conditioner on my black hair. While I dont use it for my only conditioner I use it before flat ironing or curling my hair and it really seems to help the ends not break off! I stopped using it for awhile and my hair suffered so I just went back to using it in part of my natural hair care regime.
